Dr. Mitchell Brown, B.Sc., M.D., M.Ed., F.R.C.S.C is one of Canada’s leading plastic surgeons
specializing in aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery and body contouring. Board certified in
1993, he has been practicing plastic surgery in Toronto since 1994.

  Dr. Brown approaches each patient as a unique individual with unique concerns knowing that there
is no single approach that is right for every person. With extensive experience, having performed
over 600 plastic surgery procedures annually, Dr. Brown offers patients the flexibility of access to
two facilities, The Cumberland Clinic and Women’s College Hospital, both in Toronto.

Recognizing the many questions that patients may have about their surgery, Dr. Brown launched two
websites www.torontoplasticsurgery.com and www.torontobreastimplant.com, to allow people
to conduct research, review materials and find answers to their questions from the privacy of their
own home or local library.

Dr. Brown is a member of the Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Canadian Society for Aesthetic (Cosmetic) Plastic Surgery, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), The American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Brown is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario, Faculty of Medicine in London, Ontario
and received the gold medal for top standing in his graduating class. In 1994, he completed a
five-year residency in plastic surgery at the University of Toronto and became a fellow of the Royal
College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Plastic Surgery.
