Dr. Ford is a Plastic Surgeon certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. His private cosmetic surgery practice is located in the Yorkville district of Toronto in the Toronto Institute of Aesthetic Surgery located at 199 Avenue Road. His practice encompasses breast enhancement, body contouring and facial cosmetic surgery.
Dr. Ford earned his Doctor of Medicine degree as well as his post graduate training in Plastic Surgery at the University of Western Ontario. He was selected to complete subspecialty fellowship training with pioneering endoscopic surgeon Dr. Oscar Ramirez in Baltimore, Maryland and with Paces Plastic Surgery in Atlanta, Georgia.
Dr. Ford has authored and co-authored multiple peer reviewed plastic surgery journal articles and textbook chapters. The publication topics include cosmetic surgery of the face, eyelids and breast.He has also lectured and presented to Plastic Surgery colleagues nationally and internationally.
Dr. Ford also has the privilege ofteaching cosmetic surgery to plastic surgery residents through the University of Toronto resident aesthetic surgery resident teaching program. Although cosmetic surgery is performed at our state of the art private surgical facility,Dr. Ford has full hospital privilegesand is also the Chief of the Division of Plastic Surgery at Lakeridge Health Corporation.
